RICHARD WAGNER, Executive Chairman, Affordable Medicines For Africa

Richard Wagner is founder Chairman and Chief executive of US based AMFA Foundation Inc. and Affordable Medicines For Africa (AMFA), a South African Section 21 not-for-gain organisation. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, his work with AMFA has taken him throughout the African continent where he works with Christian mission hospitals, African pharmaceutical manufacturers, supply-chain companies
and quality assurance testing laboratories. Prior to AMFA, Mr. Wagner spent nearly 30 years with for-profit businesses in Chicago, Illinois, holding various positions including executive vice president with international catalogue/retailer, Spiegel, Inc., and president and chief executive officer with two divisions of the worldwide advertising company, Young & Rubicam Inc.
